the location was nice - within short walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. and it was also close to southern france, the autoroute and the centre.

Shame the receptionist forgot her customer service smile, didn't pay for my sleepless night without AC, and the weak WiFi made me feel like I was back in the Stone Age.

The room at B&B Hotel Besancon Chateaufarine was amazing! I loved how it was equipped with an XXL shower head in the private bathroom. As someone with physical handicaps, this made my stay very comfortable. The unlimited and free high-speed WiFi was also a great bonus.

Personally, I found the air conditioning in the room to be a bit too cold for me. But I understand that others may appreciate it, so it's just my subjective opinion.

We had a bit of trouble getting into the hotel when we arrived, as there was no one at reception and no access pin code provided. the other guests were very helpful and we were able to enter with their assistance. the hotel staff quickly resolved the issue with our room key code and made sure we were comfortable. The beds were comfortable and we had a good night's sleep.
